Step 1
The first thing you have to do is to decide where you want to place your DRLS. Once that is done you need to measure ur wire so that it can be connected to any of the nuts for the ground and the positive wire will go into the fuse box in the bonnet as shown in the image below.

Hi man, thanks for the tutorial. But are u sure that its safe to attach wires to fuse box and keep it???
ReplyDeleteHi kasun glad to hear that you liked the tutorial. I still have the drls connected in my car and i have faced no problem so far it has been over a year and a half there is no problem. but i suggest you be very careful while working with the cars electrical as you may blow a fuse maybe not in this DIY but be cautious with the Ground and Positive wires.
DeleteFeel free to get back with any questions.

Thanks bro,
DeleteAnyways I'm thinking of taking power from the 12v outlet from inside or the audio system cuz I'm thinking of adding 4 LED strips (30cm strips) to the front number area. If I take power from the fuse as u have explained, will there be a power overload? What do u suggest? Thanks in advance..
*Front bumper area..
DeleteSorry for the late reply. We can take power from the fuse or any power source there shud be no overload. If the connection is from a fuse then u don't need to worry about a switch. Strip lights don't consume much power.
